COMMUNITY SERVICE
Church
Church service is important to me. I have volunteered in many church leadership capacities including full-time South American missionary service. I learned the Spanish language and developed a love for the Latin American people and culture. I use this skill daily to communicate with members of our community.
Boy Scouts
The Boy Scout program helps our youth develop in many constructive ways and I’ve been privileged to contribute to the development of 12-18 year old young men through the scouting program.

Angel Garden
I believe in giving back to the community. Shelie and I were privileged to be able to secure the right to produce and then donate the "Angel of Hope" by artists Ortho and Jared Fairbanks from Richard Paul Evan's Christmas Box Foundation. We then worked with city staff to bring the “Angel Garden” from idea to reality. This garden, located in our city cemetery now serves as a place of peace and comfort for those that have lost a child.

Veteran's Sculpture
Additionally, we were able to help secure the purchase, and placement of a bronze veteran's sculpture by artist Mark Davenport an Eagle Mountain resident also prominently displayed in the city cemetery.
