Church service is important to me. I have volunteered in many church leadership capacities including full-time South American missionary service. I learned the Spanish language and developed a love for the Latin American people and culture. I use this skill daily to communicate with members of our community.
The Boy Scout program helps our youth develop in many constructive ways and I’ve been privileged to contribute to the development of 12-18 year old young men through the scouting program.
I believe in giving back to the community and looking out for one another. Shelie and I were privileged to be able to connect
Richard Paul Evan's Christmas Box Foundation with city staff to bring the “Angel Garden” from idea to reality. This garden, located in our city cemetery now serves as a place of peace and comfort for those that have lost a child.
